Smiley Faces

I got inspired to do a set of digital art with smiley faces in them. Why, exactly? I really don’t know. I think the main thing with the smiley face was that I was trying to learn how to play with lighting effects on a sphere, making it look more 3-D than it really is.
Of course, I got carried away and gave some smiley faces a personality of their own.
This set was created over the course of several weeks. I started with the first smiley (blue urban smiley) in Virginia Beach and continued to the last one (the trojan horse smiley) in California. My original intention was to make a set of 20 different smiley characters; but, other projects and life kind of got in the way. So, I ended up with only eight pieces (see gallery below, only six are shown here).
I was thinking of making a limited run of prints of all eight pieces; but, not too sure if I want to do that now and even if there’s a market for this type of art. Maybe do 25 prints of each in 8×10 and 50 prints in 5×7. All numbered and signed by me, of course…
So, we’ll see.
